Oracle Secure Global Desktop Client

You can access Secure Global Desktop server using a separate, dedicated application that integrates with your desktop.

To install an Secure Global Desktop Client, follow the instructions for your client device.

Mac OS X

  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Mac OS X , OracleSecureGlobalDesktopClient.dmg, to a temporary directory on your Mac.
  2. Double-click Oracle Secure Global Desktop Client.dmg to open the installer disk image.
  3. In the window that appears, double-click the Oracle Secure Global Desktop Client.mpkg package to install the Secure Global Desktop Client.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Microsoft Windows

  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Microsoft Windows, sgdcwin-en.msi, to a temporary directory on your PC.
  2. Double-click sgdcwin-en.msi to install the Secure Global Desktop Client.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Linux x86 32-bit

  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Linux x86 32-bit, sgdci3li.tar, to a temporary directory on your system.
  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdci3li.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Solaris™ Operating System (Solaris OS) on x86 platforms

  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Solaris OS on x86 platforms, sgdci3so.tar, to a temporary directory on your system.
  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdci3so.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Solaris OS on SPARC® platforms

  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Solaris OS on SPARC platforms, sgdcspso.tar, to a temporary directory on your system.
  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdcspso.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.
